Terms of Use
These Terms explain how you may access and use Veriqon, including paid plans, generated reports, and platform-linked functionality such as sharing links for analysis.
Last updated: March 19, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Veriqon, including our mobile app, website, share extension, and related services that analyze public social media content and generate AI-assisted fact-checking reports.
By creating an account, accessing the service, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Veriqon.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to use Veriqon. If you use the service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device. You are also responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
3. What Veriqon does
Veriqon allows you to submit supported public links from services such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts for automated analysis. The service may extract speech, text, images, captions, and other context from the submitted content to produce a report, score, and supporting source list.
Veriqon is provided for informational purposes only. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, investment, or other professional advice.
4. AI output and limitations
Veriqon uses automated systems and third-party AI providers. Outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, out of date, or unavailable for some content.
You are responsible for evaluating any report before relying on it. You must not treat Veriqon output as a guaranteed statement of fact or as a substitute for independent judgment.
5. Acceptable use
You may use Veriqon only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, scrape the service itself, or use it to violate another person’s rights.
You must not submit content if doing so would infringe privacy, intellectual property, platform terms, or other legal rights.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and renewals
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription plans, prices, check limits, renewal periods, and availability may vary by country, platform, offer, and app version.
If you purchase through Apple, billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are handled by Apple under your App Store account terms. Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Except where required by law or platform policy, fees are non-refundable once billed.
7. Trials, quotas, and service changes
We may offer trials, promotional pricing, introductory offers, or free usage limits from time to time. Eligibility and availability may be restricted and may be changed or withdrawn.
Paid plans may include usage quotas, such as a maximum number of checks during a weekly, monthly, or annual period. Unused quota does not necessarily roll over unless we explicitly state otherwise.
We may change features, plan structure, usage limits, supported platforms, or external integrations at any time.
8. Intellectual property
Veriqon, including the app, website, design, software, and service content created by us, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for its intended purpose.
9. Third-party services and content
Veriqon relies on third-party platforms and service providers, including identity providers, AI providers, social platforms, cloud services, and push notification infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their content.
Your use of third-party services may also be subject to separate terms and privacy policies from those providers.
10. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Veriqon if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for other users or the service, or if we are required to do so by law.
You may stop using Veriqon at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app by going to Profile and selecting "Delete Account". Account deletion is irreversible.
Deleting the app or your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel subscriptions separately through your Apple ID settings.
11. Disclaimers
Veriqon is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that every URL, platform, language, or piece of content can be analyzed successfully.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising from or related to your use of Veriqon.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for Veriqon during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50 if you have not made any payment, whichever is greater.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted. If the changes are material, we may provide additional notice within the app or on the website.
14. Contact
